Life Safety

Life Safety Plans are blueprints of emergency management systems that allow a property owner or manager to implement the safe evacuation of residents in case of emergencies such as fire, earthquake, etc. Plans also serve as checklists for periodic evaluation and updates.

Review & Assess
Review building plans for existing fire safety design, including alarm system, hydrants, sprinklers, fire hoses, exit routes, and signs
Evacuation Plans
Prepare floor-by-floor evacuation plans, identifying means of egress, exit signs, relative travel distances, and lighting. Laminate evacuation plans for each individual unit.
Fire Mitigation
Identify common area fire mitigation systems (e.g., sprinklers, fire extinguishers) and recommend necessary retrofits
Hazardous Materials
Identify types and locations of hazardous materials and prepare a safe handling and storage plan including usage logging
