CATALOGGER IMAGE MANAGEMENT

Structural condition surveys yield 1000s of images that, taken together, provide a historical record of a structure on a known date. But how can you easily catalog, retrieve and store images? The answer is simple—Catalogger. Catalogger provides users with an intuitive interface that allows them to quickly access and share images. Image data is stored on the cloud and can be viewed on multiple devices via a password-protected portal.

At SRI, we use drones and 360-degree cameras to document structural condition. Photos of the same area are taken from different vantage points and stitched together to provide 360-degree panoramas. By taking images regularly, it’s easy to spot subtle changes over time and pinpoint potential structural problems. Survey documentation can be used to demonstrate careful and responsible management of assets, justify maintenance and repair expenses, and support insurance claims.
