Located on the coastal waterway, The Carlton Condominium is a sixteen-story, post-tension building with over 30,000 square feet of exterior balcony and plaza deck.
SRI was responsible for overseeing more than 1,600 post tension cable repairs, over 60,000 square feet of waterproofing, and more than 7,500 square feet of miscellaneous concrete repair.
The scope of work included 1) removal of tiles and existing waterproofing from balconies and recreational deck, planter soil and overburden (pool deck), 2) repair and restoration of damaged concrete elements, 3) removal of all post-tension cable end pockets for inspection, cleaning, greasing and recapping, 4) resurfacing slabs for proper slope, and 5) reinstallation of waterproofing on the balconies and pool deck.
